Data Analyst

This position is responsible for supporting the in-house development activities as part of the Technical Support team to be able to plan and optimize tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

  • Design and develop databases and queries (SQL),

  • Create database reports (Tableau),

  • Analyze time series data sets (Big Query, Tableau),

  • Develop Machine Learning models and deliver cloud-based solutions for complex use cases to maximize the business value of data as an asset. (Product Insights),

  • Test hypotheses from raw data sets, draw meaningful conclusions, and effectively communicate results verbally, in writing, and through effective visualization,

  • Evaluate the performance of the product (both scientifically as well as from a business perspective),

  • Support data-driven decision-making,

  • Work together with Tech Support teams in Hungary and in the USA as well

Job requirements

Requirements and ideal professional experience:

  • You have excellent communication skills both in Hungarian and English,

  • You are familiar with leading visualization tools (Tableau, Data Studio),

  • You have practical experience with cloud-based Big Data services (Google Cloud Platform preferred),

  • You have experience in data manipulation: use of structured data tools (e.g. SQL), unstructured data tools and platforms (GCP Big Query),

  • You are able to translate technical content to business audiences in a way that delivers the most value.


Advantages in fulfilling the position:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s (or equivalent) in quantitative fields like Data Science,

  • Competent in statistical packages and ML libraries (e.g. Python, SciPy, NLTK, Keras, H2O),

  • Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering background,

  • 1+ year data analytical or data science experience.
