People Development Manager

Job description

People Development Managers support the teams in their development (10-25 employees). We would like to continue to be a company where we can honestly, transparently and also assertively express our opinions to each other, and let the relevant person know if we perceive a professional or personal problem.

How you can contribute to our success:

  • Ownership of employee life cycle: onboarding, employee retention, performance management
  • Define team and individual goals, e.g. personal and career development goals
  • Improve candidate satisfaction by e.g. wellness or recognition programs
  • Recommend external trainings, prepare and hold internal trainings / workshops / hackathons / student groups
  • Hold individual and team coaching sessions
  • Recommend, organize and participate team building programs based on teams’ needs
  • Propose and implement methods that can produce measurable data
  • Cooperation with the Hungarian software development and HR teams, as well as the American People Development Managers
  • Find dysfunctions and create an action plan to reduce/eliminate them

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing teams in a software development organization

  • Experience in team/individual coaching (business/executive coach training is an advantage)

  • Experience in creating training materials

  • Fluent Hungarian and English language skills

  • Experience in increasing the efficiency of agile teams

  • Innovative approach, independence in working as this position didn’t exist before

  • High emotional intelligence

  • Experience in a leadership role in a software development discipline is an advantage: engineering, product development, program/project management, data analytics, or technical support
