Ownership of the Employee Life Cycle (ELC): Design, optimize, and lead every aspect of the software development employee experience from onboarding, personal and career development, employee retention, employer branding and performance management.
Lead, Develop, & Mentor: Work with Domain Leadership and HR to identify and mentor emerging talent. Create, track and guide career paths for domain team members. Ensure timely review and promotion of domain team members.
Manage Domain Operations: Oversee team health, identify and address dysfunction, and promote processes that support optimal team performance. Work with Domain Leadership to maintain core competencies and work responsibilities.
Define and Operationalize Domain Community of Practice (CoP): Develop employee facing recognition and wellness programs, training programs, hackathons, workshops, and study groups in emerging technologies.
Build Domain Community & Communications: Partner with HR to support diversity, equity, and inclusion at the domain level. Lead the development, evaluation and implementation of processes that ensure domain team members are informed of company initiatives, programs, and announcements. Manage domain tools, documentation, and communication channels (JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams).
Results and Data Driven: Liaise with stakeholders, HR and fellow domain leaders to develop objective measurements of skills, performance, and results of domain members. Establish and maintain a framework of continuous performance management.
Collaborate and work closely with the Budapest-based HR team in defining and executing strategic people vision.

Strategic Goals: Partner with Domain Leadership and HR to develop quarterly OKRs, set and communicate domain direction, and connect with domain members to generate alignment and buy-in.
Domain Strategy: Partner with Domain Leadership to deliver strategies, assessments, and roadmaps that anticipate challenges, address obstacles, and help the domain achieve its goals.
Delivery Support: Support domain execution with best practices and standards, solution architecture, quality assessments
Cross-Domain Engagement: Engage with leadership peers across domains to ensure department-wide alignment and collaboration on best practices.
Growth Management: Work with Domain Leadership to lead the domain through its evolution and growth stages
Excellent communication skills both in Hungarian and English
At least 3 years of experience managing teams in a software development organization from a people management perspective
Demonstrated experience contributing to and optimizing the effectiveness of agile teams in an iterative product development environment
People-focused with a track record of successfully coaching, mentoring, and developing team members - Business/Executive Coach Degree and Experience is an advantage
Experience in Human Resources/People Management is an advantage
Experience in a leadership role in a software development discipline is an advantage: engineering, product development, program/project management, data analytics, or technical support
