Delivery Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to join our agile software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the predictable delivery of work within your assigned development teams. You will manage requirements, ensure proper estimation and execution, and communicate developments effectively. Your role is pivotal in aligning the development team with the priorities of product and business and ensuring seamless collaboration and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Predictable Delivery:

• Ensure work is properly estimated and teams are focused on execution with minimal interruption or churn.
• Manage requirements and communicate developments as they arise.
• Collaborate with domain and team leadership to align the development team with the priorities of product and business.
• Hold the development teams accountable for delivering work and share accountability with them.

Communication and Alignment:

• Keep Domain Leadership informed with relevant information and status updates.
• Work with team and Domain Leadership to set clear ticket requirements and well-understood acceptance criteria.
• Ensure tickets are aligned to the correct Epics/Projects/Portfolios and contain all necessary information for work delivery.

Scrum Ceremonies & Artifacts:

• Oversee and facilitate scrum ceremonies to ensure they are conducted efficiently and meet the team's needs.
• Maintain and update key artifacts that provide clarity to the work that needs to be done while providing accurate progress updates along the way.

Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager in an agile software development environment.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in the use of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence) to manage projects and drive iterative progress.
• Skilled in overseeing and coordinating projects across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks, such as PMI or PMBOK, is highly valued and considered an advantage.
