Job description

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in software development!


To achieve our common goals, you can contribute by the following tasks and duties:

Coordinate Development Teams/Project Management:

  • Coordinate development teams (3-5 team members) ensuring seamless collaboration and effective project execution.
  • Independently manage the execution of projects, balancing trade-offs to ensure high-quality launches.
  • Coordinate and manage interesting international projects, actively collaborating with our colleagues in Seattle.
  • Ensure resources within the team are managed effectively, deadlines are met, and development tasks are prioritized.

Business and Development Alignment:

  • Discover and manage business expectations and development needs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and development teams by understanding the language of both business and developers.
  • Utilize insights from internal analytics tools to inform product recommendations and set achievable objectives for future projects.
  • Manage and plan work processes based on Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
  • Continuously improve the quality of our internal processes and technology.
  • Utilize JIRA and Confluence systems to streamline project management.
  • Identify intricate issues through understanding the interconnectedness of various features.
  • Prioritize issues affecting launch quality and coordinate extensive bug hunts to ensure release quality.

Customer Success:

  • Leverage user feedback to drive critical decisions and product enhancements.
  • Independently evaluate product designs and suggest detailed improvements, steering the design team towards optimal solutions.
  • Examine design choices of products from other companies to ensure uniformity and quality in our product lineup.

Strategic Planning/Stakeholder Management:

  • Clearly define project objectives that contribute to team and organizational goals.
  • Provide summaries of project outcomes and suggest future actions.
  • Offer strategic advice to more effectively reach objectives by devising a visionary plan of action.
  • Understand the wide range of stakeholders whose support is crucial for both ongoing and future projects.
  • Incorporate stakeholder input and advise on the most effective course of action, raising issues when necessary.
  • Relay project status, advancements, and results to upper management effectively.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • You have strong English and Hungarian language skills (spoken&written)
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner
  • You have adequate architectural knowledge
  • You know the Agile, Scrum methodology, and you have worked in a similar environment
  • You have leadership affinity and good advocacy skills
  • Excellent time manager when it comes to projects and deadlines 
  • You can communicate with our customers and development teams by understanding the language of the business side as well as the developers
  • Business acumen with a passion and hunger to succeed
  • Background in client relationships, customer relationships, and understanding business relationship necessities
  • General project management skills, good negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage up, negotiate, and respectfully challenge things that come from the stakeholders
  • Availability for frequent evening meetings with the American teams
