Contributing to Our Success Means:

Drive Team Goals:

  • Leadership and Ownership: Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, retention, goal setting, and performance management. Mentor and coach engineering teams.
  • Agile: Participate in the team and software development lifecycle. Ensure adoption of the latest technologies and agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

Operational/Strategic Excellence:

  • Operational KPIs: Establish and monitor KPIs to track performance. Analyze data to identify trends and maximize productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance effectiveness. Address challenges and mitigate risks.
  • Project & Capacity Planning: Allocate resources effectively to meet strategic goals.
  • Team Health & Performance: Foster teamwork and address dysfunctions. Monitor team health to ensure optimal performance.
  • Strategic Leadership: Guide strategic direction and execution. Develop goals and align team efforts.
  • Operational Efficiency: Analyze workflows and implement improvements. Propose methods for measurable data.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential operational or team-related risks.

Process Optimization:

  • Change Management: Manage the transformation of goals and processes. Help people adapt to changes.
  • Systems Thinking: Solve problems with an understanding of the wider dynamic system.
  • Strategic Alignment: Align operational initiatives with the global strategy.

Employee Engagement and Development:

  • Continuous Learning: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Recommend and prepare trainings and workshops.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote a positive, inclusive environment. Advocate for work/life balance and employee well-being. Enhance engagement through team building and recognition programs.
  • Employee Onboarding: Manage onboarding programs to ensure quick integration. Develop mentor programs and integration plans.
  • Employee Retention: Create a valued and innovative environment. Promote social engagement and recognize accomplishments.
  • Communication: Fluent in Hungarian and English. High emotional intelligence and open communication. Collaborate with Hungarian and American teams to align strategies.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role in software development, managing engineering teams, being a scrum master, or an agile coach.
  • Proven track record of increasing the efficiency of agile teams, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience as a scrum master is preferred to facilitate work and own the operational execution of teams.
  • Strong program management skills and background in managing enterprise-level products.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to demonstrate varied coaching strategies and approaches to maximize employee potential.
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English.
  • Innovative approach and ability to work independently.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Availability for evening meetings with American teams.
